drive Shack Inc., a leader in the golf industry with a business of operating 60 golf course properties across the U.S. will be opening a very unique golfing venue at The Grandscape in The Colony soon.
It’s basically a concept of Topgolf, mashed with putt-putt mini-golf, on steroids. In recent years, the company has shifted its strategic focus towards innovative golf driving ranges with the “Drive Shack” concept along with announcing a new mini-golf-centered “Puttery” brand.
These are modern entertainment venues combining an adult-focused social setting with craft food and beverage options. Drive Shack has entered a partnership with golf legend Rory McllRoy and his team who bring their extensive knowledge and perspective of competitive socializing and entertainment golf experiences to the brand.
“Puttery is an immersive, unique and one-of-a-kind entertainment golf experience – it is an exciting and logical partnership for me and my investment group,” McIlroy said. “I have been collaborating with the Drive Shack team for more than two years on Puttery and have remained engaged throughout its entire evolution. Puttery is a modern spin on putting, re-defining the game with unique twists at every hole. Bold and full of possibilities, guests can enjoy a high-energy atmosphere, combining competitive socializing and innovative auto-scoring technology within an immersive experience as they move from one course to the next.
With plentiful curated culinary offerings and inventive craft cocktails, all centered around a lively bar area with great music, guests can nosh the night away before, during and after their tee time. The first two venues will open in The Colony and Charlotte, N.C., with additional locations coming to Washington, D.C., and Miami later this year. Drive Shack Inc. plans to open or nearly complete a total of seven new Puttery venues by the end of 2021.

Available positions in The Colony Puttery location include bartenders, servers, concierge hosts, line cooks, dishwashers and many more.
The new 22,000 square-foot Puttery venue in The Colony is located at 5762 Grandscape Boulevard, The Colony, Texas.
