located in Grand Prairie, Texas, Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark is an incredible, year-round 80,000 square-foot, indoor waterpark with a retractable roof. The enormous roof panels open and close at the touch of a button to let in the sun and fresh air for guests year-round, giving them a truly epic aquatic experience. Epic Waters is the largest indoor water park under a single retractable roof in the nation.

“Billed as a cruise ship on land, the park features attractions for every member of the
family”

The OpenAire roof is 160 feet wide by 384 feet long, roughly the size of a football field, and it reaches 83 feet high at its peak, tall enough to cover the park’s tallest water slide tower. Billed as a “cruise ship on land,” the park features attractions for every member of the
family, for groups of any size, and features thrilling waterslides, private event areas, and so much more! Eleven waterslides are featured on the waterpark’s slide tower, and three of these slides are ‘first of their kind’ within the waterpark industry.

epic Waters Indoor Waterpark offers multiple options for groups, whether it be a school group, a church youth organization, a family, or even a corporation or business outing! Birthday Parties, Catered Meals, Consignment Tickets, Fundraisers, Corporate VIP Club, Field Trips & Tours, Curriculum & Education, Waterpark Buy-Outs.

Epic Waters features some of the most amazing water slides and attractions in the southwest, curvy and colorful that snake along outside the covered structure, including the first Boomerango and Constrictor combination waterslide, the tallest AquaLoop slide of its kind in the nation, and a two-person aqua sphere, all in an inviting sunlit atmosphere created by OpenAire’s dynamic enclosure. The roof’s operable polycarbonate-paneled sliders are designed to allow them to close at the first sign of rain or cold to maintain ideal conditions inside.

First of their kind waterpark in the nation, Epic Waters has something for every  family member

For comparison, the project, which is about 10 miles south of Hurricane Harbor, is just about twice the size, in total, of the Six Flags water park’s 38,000-square-foot wave pool. Epic Waters also features an outdoor wave pool, a 4,000-square-foot arcade and a full-service bar. Epic Waters Indoor Waterpark is part of EpicCentral Grand Prairie, DFW’s epicenter for recreation, leisure and fun.

In 2014, Grand Prairie voters approved a quarter-cent sales tax to fund the Epic project, which includes the water park, along with The Epic, a 120,000-square-foot “life-changing center,” that features multipurpose courts with built-in seating, a grand atrium with high-tech library and theater. Like the NRH2O water park in North Richland Hills, the newest North Texas water park will be owned by the local taxpayers.

there’s also a recording studio, large fitness center, second-floor track, artist studio, culinary arts room, performing arts theater, youth game room, indoor lap and resistance pool, and the Grand Lawn outdoor amphitheater. Along with slides of various lengths — creating the largest municipal slide collection in North America — the park will include a 10,000-square-foot wave pool and one of the longest lazy rivers in America.
