On March 23, the fourth Crayola Experience in the U.S. officially opened at The Shops at Willow Bend, Plano. Attending the official ribbon cutting with Plano Mayor Harry LaRosiliere was Crayola CEO Smith Holland, to officially open the doors to the public. This 60,000 sq.ft. family attraction features a plethora of unique and exciting activities such as ‘Wrap It Up’ (you can choose any name you want on the crayon and wrap it on), ‘Be A Star,'(creating a coloring page from an actual photo of yourself), or create some cool spin art from melting crayons onto spinning paper.

“With a 98% guest satisfaction rate, they’ll definitely provide a unique creative experience you can’t find anywhere else in the world! “

kids can enjoy a live show in the Crayola Theatre where crayon pals Scarlet and Turk (turquoise) explains how they make all those millions of crayons they love so much. Or perhaps visit one of the 22 different stations where they can be as unique and creative as they want.

At Crayola Experience you’re always encouraged to let your creativity run free, to color outside the lines and to play, explore, and learn. This one-of-a-kind attraction is where color, chemistry, and technology magically combine to create a colorful adventure for a child’s imagination.

They will be open 365 days a year, so you don’t need to worry about ‘good or bad’ times in which to bring the kiddo’s. Children under 3 get in free, whereas a normal day-pass is just $20.99, and for an additional $10 a person, you can purchase their annual pass for unlimited visits! Also, when you purchase an annual pass, you get 20% off items in their gigantic retail shop as well as the Crayola Café.

Plan on staying a while, as it normally takes three to four hours to fully experience this unique facility.

Guests can also rent private rooms for your children’s parties and Crayola Experience will even offer special events like Scout sleepovers or evening ‘sip-and-play’ activities for the adults.
